PROGRAMS IMS System

IMS Academy follows the international standard ‘Common European Framework (CEFR)’ and classifies the students into 12 levels depending on the result of English Proficiency Test. Students’ progress is assessed by different methods such as teacher’s assessment, monthly diagnostic test, homework performance and attendance rate.

Assessment Components Assessment Details
Placement Test Every Monday (9:00 – 12:00)
Test 5 areas (Grammar, Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking)
Daily Test The exam will be held from Monday to Thursday from 7:45 AM to 8:15 AM.
Essential Vocab, IELTS/TOEIC Vocab Test
Weekly Test Simple test based on lecture material in each class and subject(QUIZ)
Progress Test Conducted on the 4th week of the class for all students
Test 5 areas (Grammar, Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking)
Attendance Report Assessing attendance rate, if less than 90%, unable to receive certificate of completion
If student is late for more than 10 minutes, it will be considered absent(for group lesson, considered absent and not allowed to join the class)
